Edo govt begins revalidation exercise for pensioners in 18 LGAs

The Edo State Government has announced the commencement of the revalidation exercise for pensioners in the 18 Local Governments Areas (LGAs) of the state.

A statement by Permanent Secretary/Chairman, Pensions Bureau, Mr. Saylor Juwobor said the ‘AM-ALIVE Revalidation Exercise’, will hold from Wednesday 18th to Friday 20th December, 2019 at 9:00 am daily.

All affected pensioners were further directed to be physically present with the following documents: Biometric slip, Bank Verification Number (BVN), Pension Identity Card, and Pension Authority.

The Statement reads, “This is to inform the general public that the Edo State Pensions Bureau in conjunction with the Information Communication Technology Agency (ICTA) will be conducting AM-ALIVE Revalidation Exercise for all Edo State Pensioners in the 18 Local Governments Area of the State from Wednesday 18 to Friday 20 December, 2019 at 9.00 am daily”.

It added, “The venue for the screening of Pensioners resident outside Benin City will be at the Local Government Council’s secretariat nearest to them while pensioners in Benin City are to be at Urhokpota Hall, Oba Ovoramwen square, Benin City.”
