Sir Henry Ikezi, Nigerian American Real estate developer and rapper with the stage name, Sir Ike launches his own record label. The ‘YSM Cronner’ star announces the birth of his own new label revealing the name to be, ‘YSM’ an acronym for Young Self Made Records.
And he said to be in search of new talented artists to add to the new imprint. The Business mogul and rapper made it clear after launching a fresh new talent hunt contest on Instagram.
Speaking on how he discovered his music talent and why he choose to do music having made it big already in the real estate side of his life he shares,‘ Music has always been a part of me and launching a label was just the perfect way to get things popping and also I intend to promote young musicians via the platform.’
Adding to the reason of the birth of the label he mentions, “The main reason I am putting this platform up is to help get young talents off the streets. This has led these talented ones astray, they now engage in all kinds of fraudulent activities, prostitution, drugs, and other illegal activities. YSM aims to encourage and take these young talents off the street. That is why I am stepping out to start giving these young lads the opportunity to get their voice and sound heard around the world.’’
All his musical projects have been executed silently by the label. But now he thinks its time to give back to the community that helped him grow. Sir Henry Ike posited that the year 2020 will be massive for him and his label as plans are in top gear to bring in new talents.
