Habeeb, Mustapha Fasinro Bereaved

It is no doubt that Habeeb and Mustapha are surely doing well in their respective businesses and are some of the big boys who make statements in the Lagos social scene.

Society Watch gathered that while Habeeb, the older brother is a top player in politics and entertainment, his brother, Mustapha, is a big player in oil and gas sector.

Habeeb, the owner of popular and leading radio station, Smooth FM, was once a member of the House of Representatives. He called the shots at the lower chamber when he represented Eti Osa Federal Constituency. He is also the promoter of the annual high-profile Smooth Luxury Concert, which features international artistes.

The younger brother, Mustapha, plays big with his oil trading company, Linetrale, while he also has his hands in many pies like Gasoline, Automotive Gasoil, Dual Purpose Kerosene, Fuel oil, Bitumen, Naphtha, Condensate and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG).

But while the Lagos big boys have strong and wide appeal within and outside the social circles and are successful in their different businesses, they also have same passion: polo.

We gathered that Mustapha invested heavily in the game and as patron of the Linetrale Delaney Polo team, he is so much in love with one of the most expensive horses for the game, Argentine horses.

Well, that is not the story, as Society Watch gathered that the duo is not in good mood at the moment. The reason is not unconnected to the loss of their father, Alhaji Hassan Fasinro.

It was revealed that the nonagenarian, who died penultimate week, has since been laid to rest according to Islamic rites. His burial was witnessed by top personalities across the state as well as Nigeria.

Though the former Senator in the second republic lived a fulfilled life, his families were not happy with the death, as they were preparing for his 100 years’ birthday in September.

The birthday was promised to be a grand one. But as the popular saying goes, ‘’ Man proposes, God disposes.”
Alhaji Fasinro, before he became a Senator, was also a former town clerk of Lagos City Council and his political antecedent evokes goodwill till date.
