Osisioma Foundation: Giant Strides within Few Years

Prince Osisioma Foundation, a project established by Prince Dr. Onyeka Eze a few years ago has made a great impact on the communities in Dunukofia Local Government Area in particular and Anambra State generally. The Foundation has awarded scholarships to over 1000 students in various tertiary institutions, conducted medical outreach, renovated prisons and embarked on various youth empowerment/skills acquisition programmes. These far reaching projects which have significant positive impact on the people and environment are the humble contribution of a young man to his community.

It is not how long one lives but how well. Government has many projects to handle and therefore cannot meet the needs of every member of the society. It is the activities of philanthropists like Prince Dr. Onyeka Eze that make life meaningful and leave indelible footprints on the sands of time.

The recent interest of the Foundation in Information Technology (IT) Development is very revolutionary. According to Prince Eze, “a nation with high IT literacy rate, not only harbours citizens that contribute to economic development but also those who understand their rights and can hold government accountable and be out of poverty in no time”.

Hence the Foundation has embarked on the distribution of laptops among hundreds of youths in many higher Institutions of learning within Nigeria.

Born to the Eze Royal family in Ukpo, Dunukofia local Government Area of Anambra State. Prince Eze studied Philosophy at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka and worked for a few years at Oranto Petroleum limited before setting up his private establishments.

His substantial contributions to human and societal development have earned him numerous awards from many organizations in Nigeria and abroad.

One deeply appreciate the worthy contributions of Osisioma Foundation to development of Anambra State and beyond and wish his founder Prince Dr. Eze many more years of success in uplifting Humanity and recommend same to other  successful business men in Igbo land.
