The Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) was on Thursday told that two assets declaration forms submitted to the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) by the suspended, Justice Walter Onnoghen, were not verified.
Onnoghen is being prosecuted by the federal government on a 6 count charge of failure to declare his assets as required by law for public office officers.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges.
At the resumed trial Thursday, second prosecution witness, Awwal Yakassa, a retired director of the CCB, when confronted with the empty  space for verification of Onnoghen’s assets declaration forms for year 2015 and 2016, admitted that the column was not signed.
