The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has approved the suspension of two governors of the party, Ogun state governor Ibikunle Amosun and Imo state governor, Rochas Okorocha.

The party also suspended the Director General of the Voice of Nigeria (VON), Osita Okechukwu, and the Minister of Niger Delta, Usani Usani.
The suspended party chieftains were accused of anti party activities.

The APC’s NWC which met on Friday also recommended the expulsion of the men from the party.

Both governors have been accused of supporting candidates of other parties in their respective states.

In the case of the DG VON, the party said he had been campaigning for a candidate of an opposing party in Enugu State.
