Atiku Wins C’River With 295,737 votes against Buhari’s 117,302 votes

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar as the winner of the presidential election in Cross River State.

The Returning Officer for the presidential election in the state, Prof. Akin Ibhadode, who Monday night, declared the results received from 17 of 18 local government INEC collation officers, said the PDP presidential candidate polled 295,737 votes to defeat other presidential candidates including his main rival, President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who polled 117,302 votes.

There was no result for Etung Local Government Area due to electoral irregularities that marred the elections in the area.
