The youth fellowship of the Ijero Baptist Church (IBC), has announced the third edition of Worship Him in the Evening (WHITE) to hold on December 21, 2018 themed ‘Unfailing Glory’.
According to the group, the event will feature over 30 gospel artistes and over two million audience across the country.
Addressing journalists recently at IBC Lagos, WHITE President, Mrs. Bukola Akinlabi, noted the event has been designed to reflect on the year activities so far, giving God a worship offering.
“The programme, WHITE is an avenue to create true worship experience where millions of audience both in person and live streaming, will be able to worship His Majesty in spirit and live in truth.
“It has always been a medium to reflect on the year, appreciate God in true holiness and call back the lost to the kingdom of God. It also gives all our worshippers and guests the opportunity to dress in all white apparel, either traditional or corporate wear as a reflection of the programme itself,” she said.
She noted the the seven hours mega worship experience will host some top worship anointed leaders in the country which includes; Rev. Getrude Sosu and Rev. Dr. Kayode Babarinde, Pastor Tolu Adeniji, Rev. Israel Olu Kristilere; the percussionist Ayan Jesu, the acrobatic Gospel-Force; the saxophonist SamDeejay; the energetic Kaakaki Jesu; the wordsmith Grace D eulogist; Ife Afolayan, the beautiful Youth Ensemble as the host choir, amongst others.
Also speaking on the significance of the event, WHITE Secretary, Mr. Bode Afolayan, said the event is also an avenue to give special thanks to God in grand style for his protection throughout the year and prayers into the New Year.
“Collectively and individually, the WHITE worship has become an avenue to thank God for the just concluded year, prayer into the new year, rededication of our commitment to God, a salvation call to the lost and the likes.
“In fact, the fellowship in particular and the church at large have recorded some tremendous testimonies among her members and non-members through this special event,” he said.
