Church Dedicates One Month to Helping Aspiring Entrepreneurs

The Elevation Church (TEC), a non-denominational Christian assembly in Lagos, has set aside the month of November to address Africa’s challenge of building and sustaining businesses that last for generations.

With the theme ‘Building Enduring Enterprises’, the church will hold services across its three centres—the Island Centre; the Mainland Centre; and The LifePointe Church, which is the young adult expression of the church— to equip members and guests with principles that guide growth, expansion and sustainability in career and business.

Seasoned Human Resource professionals, successful businessmen and women will be speaking on various topics including Building Solid Foundations; Making Progress; Building Legacies and Why Some Enterprises Fail.

There will also be grass to grace stories from people who have built great enterprises from nothing, while TEC pastoral team will teach on Accessing the Covenant for Divine Establishment. All topics will be taught at mid-week and weekend services throughout the month of November.
To accommodate more people and encourage those who work on Sundays, to find some time to worship, the Island Centre of the church has commenced Saturday services, which will hold at 6pm at the Pistis Conference Centre, 1 Resurrection Drive, Jakande, Lekki, Lagos.

Similarly, from Sunday November 4, the Mainland Centre will commence three services at 7.30am, 9.30am and 11.30am respectively at the Pistis Hub, 1A Ikorodu Road, Maryland, Lagos.

Also, in the month of November, Men of Honour, the men’s ministry of TEC has put together a conference tagged “Becoming a Man of Strength”.

It is scheduled to hold on Saturday , November 24, 2018 at the Pistis Conference Centre, Lekki, at 9am.
The conference is for men of all ages and life stages and is focused on challenging men up to take up their responsibilities in enterprise, family and their spiritual lives.

The event will feature Mr. Seyi Wright, a renowned business consultant and founder of Wright & Co., Pastor Yemi Davids of Global Impact Church with Pastor Godman Akinlabi serving as the convener.

As a bonus, as the Christmas season approaches, on Friday, November 9, 2018, the LifePointe Band, the music expression of The LifePointe Church is set to release an EP, titled “Unrestrained” at their Music in the Park event, which will hold at the Lifepointe Church location.

The Elevation Church was founded by Pastor Godman Akinlabi in October 2010. Recently, the church celebrated its eight year anniversary.
