South African born wife of the senior pastor of Foundation of Life Church, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, Pastor Nomthi Odukoya, has encouraged women to keep shining, be consistent and to rely on the strength of God.

Odukoya gave this charge during the events marking Inner Beauty Outward Radiance (IBOR), held on Saturday, 20th of October, 2018 at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Addressing guests at the 2018 edition with the theme: ‘The Chandelier – Go Forth and Shine,’ Odukoya noted that while it is important to look beautiful outwardly, it is more important to have a beautiful heart.
According to her, “it is good to look good but don’t let that be where you spend your energy on.”

Earlier, the IBOR convener, Pastor Nike Owolabi, had noted that the body is a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) established with a divine mandate to empower women to release their authentic inward and outward beauty, stating that “the aim is to create wholesome women who reflect more of the beauty of the heart by mentoring them to become better daughters, wives and mothers”.

She said IBOR was created to uplift and inspire women to become the best version of themselves and urged them to go back to the place of prayer and be led by the spirit. She also encouraged women to let their light shine in every area of their lives.
