Oyemade Wins APC Lagos Mainland Constituency Ticket

Hon. Adetayo Adekintan Oyemade, has been declared winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) State Assembly Primary election for Lagos Mainland Constituency II and returned elected as the candidate to fly the APC flag at the forthcoming Lagos State House of Assembly election.

Consequently, Lagos Mainland and environs erupted in wild jubilation upon the declaration of the result by the Returning Electoral Officer in Yaba, Lagos.

It was expected to be a keenly contested battle between the lawmaker currently representing Lagos Mainland II Constituency in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Moshood Olanrewaju Oshun, Hon Adetayo Adekintan Oyemade popularly known as Mashara, and Mr. Sunday Sawyer.

 Oyemade recorded a landslide victory to defeat his closest challenger, Mr. Sunday Sawyer, while the incumbent member representing the constituency, Hon. Oshun, came a very distant third.

A highly elated Oyemade in a short address to his teeming supporters thanked them for their huge support and sacrifices. He promised to offer the Mainlanders quality representation while equally assuring to carry everyone along once he is elected eventually at the forthcoming general election.
