Dufil to Reward Hero’s at Independence Day 

In celebrating this year’s Independence Day, Dufil Prima Food, makers of Indomie Noodles will be rewarding Nigerian Children, who have displayed exceptional acts in the course of the year.

The company said that the initiative was put in place to support children’s pursuit for quality education in addition to its  drive to encouraging positive efforts and strong character in the physical, intellectual and social aspects.

Group Public Relations and Events Manager of the company Mr. Tope Ashiwaju, stated that the 11th edition of the award, slated for next Saturday in Lagos, would reward three children, who had distinguished themselves  intellectually, physically and socially with N1,000,000.00 scholarship award each.

He informed that in the build up to the award,  the company   engaged two professional research agencies to carry out  search for the exceptional brains in order to ensure fairness in the process.

The field search exercise, which lasted for over eight weeks, got over 400 heroic stories out of which the best three finally emerged after being screened by some selected panel of judges.

“We are indeed grateful and appreciate the efforts of stakeholders in bringing this year’s Indomie Independence Day Award (IIDA) to fulfilment. We appreciate the research agencies and the panel of judges for their commitment to IIDA, the thorough scrutiny of all the stories penciled down by the selection committee. We also appreciate the partnering agency, BD Consult, for a seamless and hitch-free coordination.”

In her comment, Chairman of the IIDA panel, Amata Agatha while commending the company,  stated that the panel ensured the selection process was made transparent and only stories that met the set criteria were put forward.
