AQC Harps on Quality Products

The organisers of African Quality Congress 2018 have charged both local and international businesses within the country and Africa to imbibe the international quality standard procedure that would make Nigerian and African products and services compete at the international stage.

The quality congress which seeks to apt on quality of products and services produced in Nigeria as well as networking among the stakeholders will hold on September 28, 2018 in Lagos.

According to the convener, Desmond Esorougwe, African quality congress 2018, is set to be a day where issues concerning standards, regulations and self-regulation will be discussed by renowned experts on specific industry.

It is expected to be an informative and inspiring day of new idea, stimulating debate and renowned speakers, dedicated to driving forward the quality agenda and the congress would provide delegates with a greater understanding of how operational effectiveness and efficiency is vital to achieving organisation success.

“For organisation, a quality approach is vital to maintain their business growth in the future. To nations, quality serves as a symbol of its greatness. Individual see quality as a way of life,” they said.

                                                                                   Besides sharing key experiences and knowledge, the organisers are also set to reward organisations that have adhered to the standard procedures hence the African quality achievement awards (AQAA) 2018.

According to Ms. Ifeoma favour Emeka, Award General Secretary, this is an annual event initiated at celebrating leadership innovation and creativity in quality management in Africa.

“The awards are aimed at identifying, recognising and rewarding companies, personalities and products that apply Quality Culture and Quality Management Best practice to the analysis, planning and implementation and control of policies designed to achieve corporate objectives in both profit and non- profit making organisation in Africa,” she said.
