- Announces N5m for presidential form, N3 m for governorship aspirants

The national secretariat of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) wednesday released timetable for the primaries of the party nationwide ahead of 2019 general elections, with the announcement of N1 million for intent and N4 million for nomination, respectively for Presidential aspirants.
According to the communique, the presidential primary is billed for September 27, 2018; State House of Assembly/Governorship comes up on September 13 while the National Assembly holds on September 20, respectively.
Signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Ms. Olayinka Nola after the Elections Committee Meeting at the party headquarters in Abuja, the party therefore, directed that all nominations fees should be made in draft in the name of Alliance for Democracy and sent to the national secretariat in Abuja.
The nomination fees are: “the State House of Assembly intent is N50, 000, while nomination is N100, 000. Application of intent should be forwarded to the National Chairman, through the state chairman of various states. House of Representatives’ intent is N100, 000 while the nomination goes for N200, 000.
“Governorship’s intent is N500,000, while nomination is N2, 500,000. Senate’s seat intent is N200,000 while nomination is N500,000. Presidential: – Intent is N1, 000,000. Nomination, N4, 000,000.
“All aspirants are urged to reach out to the State Chapters of Alliance for Democracy (AD) or the National Secretariat for more information, while aspirants are also warned not to purchase forms with cash. All payments outside the approved States Branches of Alliance for Democracy or the National Secretariat is void” The communique stated.
