Losing one’s child can be a harrowing experience. For Nigeria’s hip-hop sensation, Dbanj, it is no different. He is still lost in thoughts over his loss. If money could cheat death, we need not say he would have paid the price to keep his late son alive.
The death of D’banj’s son came as a rude shock to everyone. Since the harrowing incident, the artiste has stayed away from social media but recently, from his solitary confinement, he has found courage to write about how he and his family are coping since the sad incident. He wrote, “the past few weeks have been incredibly trying and difficult, but God’s love has kept me and my family going. I can’t thank my team enough and the incredible love from you all. May God keep us all. #StrongerTogether.”
One can’t help but pray that God grants the musician the inner strength to bear this irreplaceable loss.
