Senate President Bukola Saraki has given an assurance that the invasion of the National Assembly will not happen again.

Addressing a news conference at the lobby of the National Assembly in Abuja in the company of Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogara, and some legislators, Saraki said the invasion of the National Assembly by security operatives on Tuesday will never happen again in the life of the federal legislature.

He condemned the DSS siege and singled out Hon. Boma Goodhead for resisting the presence of the security operatives at the National Assembly premises.

The Senate President emphasised that the legislature will not be perturbed despite the constant intimidation and harassment by the Executive.
