Acting President Yemi Osinbajo Tuesday condemned what he described as the unauthorised takeover of the National Assembly is security operatives , saying it was a gross violation of constitutional order, rule of law and all acceptable notions of law and order.
According to a statement by his spokesman, Laolu Akande, Osinbajo said the action was not only unlawful but also done without the knowledge of the Presidency, insisting that it was condemnable and completely unacceptable.
The statement also said Osinbajo assured Nigerians that everyone within the law enforcement apparatus who was party to “this travesty” would be fished out and accordingly punished.
