Phase3 Telecom, one of West Africa’s largest independent fibre optic infrastructure and telecommunications services provider, has said that it rolled out the drums for its network partners through celebrating and rewarding them because of the critical role they in ensuring a strengthened network deployment and optimized client service delivery.

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company, Mr. Stanley Jegede, while speaking at the company’s first annual contractors’ engagement forum and awards ceremony in Abuja, said the company felt expedient to take stock of its activities because of the rapidly evolving fibre optic services terrain.

On collaboration with network partners, Jegede said: ‘’The role palyed by Phase3 chief role as a national long distance operator is transformative, hence the need to affirm its market position as a high speed broadband infrastructure backed by a sustainable integration model that builds and ensures scalable business solutions that both compliment the objectives of the National Broadband Plan, and ensures that it helps its clients succeed in their businesses.”

The CEO urged its contractors to see beyond increasing profits to viewing themselves more as industry stakeholders that are integral to addressing the existing market gaps in meeting broadband services demand as well as the current strategic objectives for the deployment of nationwide fibre optic infrastructure under the NBP.

The event which was well attended by its large network of suppliers, and roll out experts across the country focused on seeking inputs; discussing feedbacks, the required ingenuity, and transparency of stakeholders in facilitating change to enhance network project objectives.

One of its network partners, Sir Feliy Telecoms limited was honoured for its accomplishment and for being an outstanding contractor and partner to the company in 2017.

On synergizing, he added: “The principal consideration involves the active collaboration of its contractors, is maintaining a consistent graph of network uptime through result driven processes that promote turnkey network infrastructure deployment, and service integration.”
