Ed Singer Set to Rule Music Scene

Fast-growing Nigerian-born U.S.-based artiste, Ed Singer, real name, Edidiong Udoidiong, is a singer, songwriter and producer with a dynamic and unique style. This Nigerian masterful pop/rockster moved to the United States of America, in December, 2012. He had a dream to study music and pursue his musical career in the U.S.A, which eventually came true as he currently studies Music at Columbia College.

Versatile Ed began working on his EP project in April 2013, precisely in his home studio, where he wrote, composed and produced great demos. He finally took his demo tapes to a mega-studio where he recorded vocals and live drums. The EP demo project was further moved to Gravity Studios in Chicago for professional recordings of his songs, after he found Daniel Farnsworth, with whom they co-produced two songs at the studio. Ed also recorded at Blackbird Studios in Nashville.

Ed found Jean-Marie Horvat, a music genius, who has worked with so many great music icons like Michael Jackson, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston and many more. Jean fell in love with Ed’s ‘Paradise’, while mixing; he instantly felt it was an honour to be a part of Ed’s history. Ed has worked with Grammy Award-Winning mix engineer, Michael Brauer, a five-time Grammy Award-Winning mixer, who mixed Ed’s songs, including ‘Arise’. Michael also mixed the likes of John Mayer, Coldplay, The Rolling Stones and many more. Ed has mastered his songs with Grammy Award-winning mastering engineers, like Joe Laporta, Ted Jensen, Aya Merrill (sterling-sound).

He recently recorded one last song on his EP, ‘Oceans’, with a Grammy Award Winning Producer/vocal arranger, Ben Bram, who’s the brain behind an Acapella group, Pen-tatonix. Ed had the chance to also work with Ed Boyer, a multi Grammy Award Winning Acapella Producer/mixer, nominated nine times, and won once.
