Injury Knocks Lanzini Out of Argentina Team

West Ham and Argentina midfielder Manuel Lanzini has been ruled out of the World Cup after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament in training.
The 25-year-old, who has made four appearances for Argentina, suffered the injury in training on Friday morning and is expected to miss the entirety of the upcoming tournament in Russia.
Argentina were originally due to face Israel in their final warm-up match in Jerusalem on Saturday.
Two-time winners Argentina take on Iceland in their opening World Cup game on June 16, before they face on Croatia and Nigeria in their remaining Group D fixtures.
