The National Coordinator of Delta Youth Vanguard (DYV), Mr. Kingsley Pemu, Sunday said that Delta State Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and his party, the Peoples

Democratic Party (PDP), have not anointed any of the numerous aspirants in the race to various positions for the 2019 general election.

Pemu’s assurance came as many of the PDP aspirants in the state are claiming that they have been adopted for certain elective positions by the ruling party in the state.

He charged all party aspirants to go about their politicking with all sense of decorum and responsibility and desist from name dropping to intimidate other aspirants.

The DYV leader appealed to Deltans not to be deceived into believing that some persons have already been penciled down for certain positions

The leader of the political pressure group in the state commended the PDP, Okowa, former governor, Chief James Ibori, and the PDP state chairman, Mr. Kingsley Esiso, for ensuring a level playing field for all aspirants in the state.

Pemu applauded Okowa for the monumental developmental strides in his three years in office particularly in area of massive road construction throughout the state.

He noted that the road network, in both the urban and riverine areas, have opened up and linked various communities for economic and socio-political benefits of the people.

While congratulating the governor and the state PDP chairman Esiso for a successful third year in the saddle
in the state, Pemu said that Deltans are determined to return the governor in 2019 to consolidate on his achievements and in consonance with the normal two-term agreement for each senatorial district of the state.
