Total Strengthens Bond with Customers through Top Service

Total Nigeria Plc. has reiterated its commitment to customers during its Top Service Week as customers in turn commended the company for its exceptional service delivery.
The Top Service initiative was put forward by the company as a means of getting closer to the customers in order to serve them better.

According to the company, the initiative sought to amongst others, demonstrate practical top service exercise in Total stations; identify customers’ challenges as well as the way out and to create awareness among members of staff on costumers’ service excellence.
While attending to customers along with some top executives of the company at the Lekki Phase 2 filling station in Lagos, Managing Director of the firm, Phillipe Torres, stated that part of the week’s activities was for the executives of the firm to visit selected stations across the country, render service to customers and relate with them one-on-one.
He added that as much as the company observed the service twice in a year, it also embarks on such service any other time though unofficially just to ensure that it constantly keeps in touch with customers.
“This is important to us as our customers remain our priority; they are the reason why we are still in business. Business to us means service, to listen to our customers and connect with them more often.

“It is part of our culture at official dates and once in a while that we visit the field, do the service ourselves, know our customers, engage them, know their challenges and solutions, get general feedback and guide them on pump island, fuel and wind screen service, under bonnet and active sales. “This is really an important part of our job and mission. At Total, service is a part of our DNA and that is why this initiative will be sustained and we will ensure that our stations remain clean, our staff are well trained with our pumps and equipment in perfect working conditions to make our customers have best service and experience with us.”

Torres added that the initiative had also assisted in putting the company on the growth path as it keeps investing and striving to expand its network of service stations.

“In less than two years, we have increased our stations by over 100 across the country and we are still expanding,” he said.
