Rotimi Ajanaku’s Act of Religious Tolerance
Otunba Rotimi Ajanaku, also known as Don Dino, is known for his humaneness.
His actions speak volumes about someone who is always ready to lift his fellow human beings who are either experiencing some pains or in some disadvantaged positions.
Last week, the shrewd businessman and politician shared rams, cows, beverages and food items to some Muslims in his Ibadan Southwest/NorthWest Federal Constituency in Oyo State, who are currently observing the one-month Ramadan fast.
As a practising Christian, many find this singular act very commendable, especially because it preaches religious tolerance.
Though it is being alleged in some quarters that it was politically motivated, those who know him better say that he has always religiously shown love to Muslims in and outside the community, even before he launched his political ambition.
Interestingly, from all indications, his political aspiration is gathering momentum, considering the fact that he has been shown massive love by his constituents, who have reportedly promised to show their appreciation for his kind gestures over the years come 2019.
