Armed Policemen Invade Kuku’s House in Ondo

Officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force on Thursday stormed Arogbo town in Ese Odo Local Government Area of Ondo State and invaded the country home of a former special adviser to former President Goodluck  Jonathan, Hon. Kingsley Kuku.

Kuku was also the chairman of the Presidential Amnesty Committee of the federal government.

THISDAY learnt that the police broke into Kuku’s house looking for what was not disclosed to anyone.

A source said the armed policemen announced their arrival with sporadic shooting in the riverine community to scare the people in the neighbourhood.

“They forcefully broke into every room and everywhere in the house claiming to be in search of kidnappers.

“After combing all the rooms in the house in a commando style, they left without anything incriminating nor any kidnapper in the house,” the source said.

When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer for Ondo State Command, Mr. Femi Joseph, confirmed the visit of the policemen.

Joseph said the policemen were from the Force Headquarters and on lawful duty.
