Unilever CEO Leads Talk at Marketing Edge National Marketing Summit

Unilever Nigeria, Ghana CEO, Yaw Nsarkoh has confirmed his participation in the forthcoming annual Marketing Edge National Marketing Summit. Nsarkoh who is globally reckoned for his thought-leadership credentials in the areas of marketing and capacity management will be guest speaker at the annual event.

His speech will centre on the theme of the summit, “Marketing Paradigms in the Age of Digitalisation.” This year’s Marketing Edge National Marketing Summit holds Friday, July 6, at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Ikeja GRA.

Nsarkoh’s disclosure and confirmation completes a line-up of high-powered marketing and advertising professionals who will be speakers and Panelists as they are have indicated interest to be a part of the highly anticipated summit.

The line-up includes Keynote Speaker, Prof. Chris Ogbechie, Professor of Strategic Management at Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University, Emeka Okeke, Group CEO Media Fuse Dentsu Aegis Network and Feyi Olubodun CEO Insight Publicis.

The Unilever CEO, is one of the most accomplished corporate executives in Africa. Before his redeployment in 2014 to head Unilever’s operation in Nigeria, he served as Strategic Assistant to Unilever Executive Member and President of Unilever Asia, Africa, Central and Eastern Europe based in the United Kingdom.

He also served at various times as Marketing Director Unilever Ghana, African Regional Brand Manager Laundry Regional Innovation Centre, Unilever South Africa, and Production Manager Unilever Ghana etc.

He has contributed immensely to the growth of Unilever businesses in Ghana, South Africa, Asia, Central and Eastern Europe in his over 20 years career in Unilever.

Nsarkoh holds an Honors Degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Henley Management College, Henley-on-Thames, United Kingdom.

His areas of expertise and experience include, but are not limited to: Team Leadership and General Management, Marketing and Innovation, Supply Chain and Project Management and Execution, External Networking, Stakeholders’ Management etc.
