President Muhammadu Buhari arrived in Dutse at about 10am Monday to begin his two-day official visit to Jigawa State.
Buhari was received at the Dutse Airport by Jigawa State Governor Abubakar Badaru and four of his colleagues: Abdullahi Gandujeo (Kano), Ibrahim Geidam (Yobe), Abdullahi Abubakar (Bauchi) and Aminu Masari (Katsina).
Also at the airport to receive him were traditional rulers, including Emir of Dutse, Nuhu Muhammadu Sanusi; and Emir of Kazaure, Najib Husseini Adamu.
During the two-day visit, Buhari will inaugurate some road and water projects within and outside the state capital.
He will also flag off the operations of the state social security committee. A state dinner will be held in his honour Monday evening while a rally will hold on Tuesday.
