TAYO BOLODEOKU’S EXEMPLARY  MOVE

Tayo Bolodeoku, owner of Hans and Rene, a thriving confectioneries and baking shop, can’t be happier at the moment.
For a long time, she nursed a dream and prayed ceaselessly to see it come to fruition.
Today,  she is quick to say that she owes God a lot of gratitude,  especially as she is fast becoming a household name, especially  among residents of Lekki,  Victoria Island and Ikeja.
Her baking business that started like a joke  inside her kitchen on a shoe-string capital in 2010 is now a popular brand, as she has seven outlets scattered across the state.
At the outset,  the light-skinned mother of four,  in her bid to get better in her craft, travelled to Italy, where she learnt the ‘Italaian Gelato’ and sorbet. Not yet sated, she also studied at  the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Academy in London, where she gained more knowledge in the business.
Her  passion for all things sweet means that she just had to create a space where people could come and enjoy the best of her baked goods and Gelato.  So,  in May 2015, she opened the first Gelataria in Lagos.
Bolodeoku, an  Accounting and Business Administration graduate of the  University of Sunderland and Webster University,  London  loves to give out her best in everything she does.
This played out recently when the Odogbolu, Ogun State-born pastry chef opened her seventh and biggest outlet  yet on the highbrow Admiralty way, Lekki Lagos, last Saturday.
The official launch was used as give-away and product sampling exhibition, where fans, friends and family converged and were treated to Italian Gelato and sorbet, with some amazing finger foods and drinks to savour their tastes.
