The Senate Wednesday cut short its plenary session to protest what it said are the excesses of the Nigeria Police in the arrest of Senator Dino Melaye who is currently lying at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the National Hospital.
The Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, would lead other senators who are medical doctors, to the hospital to ascertain the true status of the lawmaker.
