Easter Fun Seekers Gear Up for Ibadan Food, Drinks Festival

The city of Ibadan is agog as all is now set for the first International Food and Drinks Festival starting from Friday, 30th of March till Sunday, 1st of April, 2018 at the popular Ibadan Recreation Club, Adamasigba, Ibadan.

The Easter celebration is expected to be a long holiday for most families which is part of why the organisers of the festival had put this together at this time to create a one stop shop of fun and entertainment on the platform of good hygienic food and drinks for all and sundry.

To make this a memorable fun time through the Easter holidays, the organisers according to the Project Coordinator, Mr Clemence Eki, credible and strong brands in the food and drink sectors were on board to delight everyone that comes to the festival with their various products.

Eki said, “we are excited that respected brands like Unilever , makers of Knoor, Royco, Grandoak, makers of drinks like Lord’s Gin amongst other exotic drinks from their stable are partners to the festival . Likewise, brands like Indomie, Coca Cola, Lucozade Boost, Guiness and Union Bank from the financial sector amongst others have all confirmed their participation to make this a fun – filled experience for all attendees. 

To add more fun to the three days of excitement, we are equally having music from popular Disco Jockeys, bands, games, children corner to deliver an all-encompassing entertainment in all ramifications”.

Already, the city of Ibadan is upbeat with lots of activations like roadshows, media hypes on both traditional and new media to announce this big event that is expected to have over 20,000 visitors for the three days duration. 

Ultimately, the organisers are not leaving any stone unturned to make this festival an eventful and memorable event that will deliver the expected mileage for both the brands and the visitors alike with security and other logistics guaranteed.
