Chairman of the Senate committee on Poverty Alleviation, Senator Malam Ali Wakili is dead. The senator, representing Bauchi South senatorial District in the National Assembly, died at the age of 58.
His death was confirmed in a tweet by the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, who expressed sadness at the news of the demise of his friend and colleague.
