Senate Disagrees with Court Injuction Restraining Override Vote

By Damilola Oyedele in Abuja

The Senate has expressed its disagreement with the injunction of a Federal High Court Abuja, restraining it from overriding President Muhammadu Buhari’s veto on the Electoral Act Amendment.

This followed a point of order raised by the Minority Leader, Senator Godswill Akpabio, at plenary Thursday.
