Buhari in State Visit to Plateau

President Mohammadu Buhari is currently in Jos on a two-day working visit, where he will commission projects and hold a townhall meeting with stakeholders.

The presidential aircraft, Nigerian Air Force marked 5N-FGW, touched down at the Yakubu Gowon Airport about 11:54 am and the president alighted from the aircraft at about 12:00 noon and proceeded to Mararaban Jama to commission Mararaban Jama – Secretariat junction road project after first inspecting a guard of honour and exchanging pleasantries with dignitaries.

At the airport to welcome the president were politicians on the platforms of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), the Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong, his Nasarawa State counterpart, Umaru Tanko Almakura, Senator Jonah Jang, and a former deputy Senate President Ibrahim Mantu among others.
