2019 Presidency: Group Stages Rally in Warri for Governor Okorocha

  • Vows to take campaign to other states

As the political intrigues develop ahead of the 2019 Presidential election, a new group, Intelligent Movement Forum for Rochas (IMFR) which has over 5,000 members on Wednesday February 14, staged a rally across major streets in the oil city of Warri, Delta State, calling on the Imo State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, to run for the 2019 Presidency.

Members of IMFR led by its President, Olodia Orevaoghene, matched round major streets of Warri such as Odibo, Deco, Hausa Quarters, Warri Sapele Road, Okere Road, Ginuwa and Ometan, singing as well as dancing in solidarity for the Imo State governor who has publicly declared that only President Buhari’s return bid in 2019 could delay his presidential ambition.

Addressing newsmen shortly after the two-hour rally, the IMFR President, Olodia Orevaoghene said that the campaign would be extended to other parts of the country, starting from neighbouring Edo, Bayelsa and Anambra states.
Speaking further, Orevaoghene hinted that the group will extend its dragnet to co-opt more members, adding that his vision for Rochas’ presidency was nurtured a couple of years ago as a result of the vibrancy, intelligence and young age of the two-time Imo State governor.
