The secretariat of a faction of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna State led by Senator Suleiman Hunkuyi, representing Kaduna North Senatorial District in the National Assembly, located at No. 11B Sambo Road has been demolished.
An aide to Hunkuyi, Dr. Abdulrahman Usman, who said the demolition took place at about 4am on Tuesday, added that a bulldozer accompanied by heavily armed soldiers carried out the demolition.
The Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, and Hunkuyi have been engaged in brickbats with their factions of the APC suspending each other.
The Hunkuyi-led faction recently announced the relocation of the state secretariat of the party at Ali Akilu Road to No.11B Sambo Road.
It was learnt that the demolition was carried out by the Kaduna State Urban and Property Development Agency (KASUPDA).
