Indomie Shows Commitment to Education in Ogun 

Dufil Prima Foods, makers of Indomie Noodles, has restated its commitment to education in the country as it reached out to a secondary school in Ogun State with educational equipment worth millions of naira.
The beneficiary, Iganmode High School, Ota, Ogun State was presented with a complete set of science laboratory equipment  to enhance learning and students’ participation in science-related courses.
Presenting the equipment, Group Public Relations and Events Manager of the company, Mr. Tope Ashiwaju, stated that the initiative, in addition to fulfilling the company’s core Corporate Social Responsibility, CSR objective, was also part of its effort in complementing government endeavours at boosting learning in the state especially in the area of science and technical education.
He also urged the teachers of the school to see to effective utilisation of the equipment to serve the purpose for which they were donated most especially as the company expected to see a significant improvement in the West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASCE) and the National Examination Council (NECO) result with respect to science courses.
Ashiwaju   revealed further that the company was  looking at investing in  other social projects that would benefit   nearby communities.
In his remark, the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) Chairman of the school, Mayor Hakeem Amodu, expressed  appreciation to the company and also urged parents to encourage their children  to take full advantage of the facility  for their advancement which would eventually see the environment  produce more  science graduates.
“Iganmode High school is indeed very lucky for this kindness. Considering the worth and value of  the donation, no doubt, the school laboratory will be second to none in the  whole of Ota Zone. On behalf of the parent-teacher association and students, I am  saying a very big thank you. ”
Earlier in his welcome address, the school principal, Mr. Olalekan Akinosi also thanked the benefactor, adding that  the donations  would go a long way in changing the face of the school.
He urged other private investors to emulate the company as government alone could not shoulder the whole  responsibility of the state.
