Upcoming gospel singer, Chinedu Chibiko, also known by his stage name ‘Minista Chinedu’, has said his purpose in life is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ through his songs.

“I’m called to preach the good news of Jesus Christ with my music. My desire is to see miraculous things take place as I lead the people of God in praise and worship,” Chibiko said.

“I have a single titled ‘God No Dey Fail’. The song has been a blessing to many lives as we speak. God gave me that song at a time in my life when all hope seemed to have lost. So it was inspired out of my experience with God.”

The young artiste said his entrance into music was owing to his love for God. Though, I grew up in a family of music lovers. My late parents couldn’t sing but they loved music, so we always had music playing everyday at home. However, along the line, I discovered that music was my purpose in life – I have found my purpose,” he explained.

Currently working on his album, Chibiko noted that his only single ‘God No Dey Fail’ was recorded at Honesty Studio.

“I have a music team called ‘D’ GENIUS’ – anytime I get inspired with a song, they help to arrange it professionally before I go to the studio to record. I record live, so l can work with any producer because I go with a blueprint of what I want.”

He singled out worship songsters, Nathaniel Bassy, Panam Percy Paul and Chris Morgan as his role models, saying, in years to come, his life would be a blessing to many lives around the world.
