Bendel Insurance FC Re-launch Holds February 27

There is going to be a rediscovery in Nigerian football and Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, says his state will sign-post this new trend and its through football and youth development; Bendel Insurance, one of the foremost cluside in the country will be the great rediscory agent.
The event will hold at the Banquet Hall of the Government House in the sprawling modern city of Benin, which houses the Edo State capital.

Speaking though his deputy and sports anchor eye, Comrade Philip Shaibu, Obaseki, said Edo is finally ready to re-launch football in Nigeria and its going to be through the state’s prime club, Bendel Insurance FC. According to him, the state which has witnessed tremendous growth though football development can no longer lag behind while lesser talented states take the front seats.

Already, February 27, has been picked as the date for the re-launch that is expected to witness the who is who in football, governance in the old Bendel State and the entire leadership of Nigerian football that will b led by its President, Melvin Amaju Pinnick.
Edo FA Chairman, Frank Ilaboya, who said he was speaking on behalf of the Deputy Governor, Comrade Philip Shaibu, said the February 27 event will be an ell encompassing event targeted at rediscovering the team and the entire process of football in Nigeria, where Edo and Delta were the champions.

The specific areas of concentration according the Edo State Governor, will include a total re-launch of Bendel nsurance FC and a launch also of the new philosophy nof the club, new club logo, advanced kits. “Its going to be a new day in Nigerian football and that’s why Corporate Nigeria will be heavily represented.” New kits of Bendel Insurance will be launched”, His Excelency, Phili Shaibu declared.

Apart from the NFF leadership, that will grace the February 27 event, foremost Nigeria star and 1980 Nations Cup hero, Olusegun Segun “Mathematical’ Odegbami will be among the team of exalted super invitees. He will be assisted by the only living Nigerian to have coached the U17, U20, U23 and the Super Eagles of Nigeria and fondly called the Transformer of talents, Fanny Ikhayere Amun among several dignitaries expected to witness the event. Amun is an Edo indigene.
Corporate Nigeria will also be hugely represented in the in new hope of taking football not only in Edo but across Nigeria and indeed Africa to new heights”, declared Comrade Shaibu.
