MDCAN Donates N.2m to Kogi Members

Members of the Medical and Dental Consultants Association of Nigeria (MDCAN) Federal Medical Centre  Lokoja chapter has donated the sum of N200,000  to the newly employed doctors  following failure of Kogi State government to pay their salaries. Delivering the cheque yesterday to the Chairman of Nigeria Medical Association Dr. Godwin Tijani in Lokoja, he said it had dawned on them that the young doctors had been subjected to untold hardship despite their valuable contributions to the health care programme of government and people of Kogi State. He lamented that the newly employed Doctors were suffering and urged organisations and individuals to come to their aid so that they could give their best to the people. He stressed that most of the newly employed medical doctor were facing serious hardship.
