The Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, Dr. Zhou Pingjian, Thursday said the Peoples Republic of China will remain a good and strong partner to Nigeria.
Pingjian, who made the remark when he visited the Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, as part of his working visit to Sokoto and Zamfara States, described the existing strategic relationship between Nigeria and China as robust, saying it would be sustained.
The Chinese envoy noted that China had past glories just like Nigeria that produced great men like the late Sir Ahmadu Bello and the legendary Jihadist, Sheikh Usman Danfodiyo.
Pingjian promised that China would continue to be a reliable partner to Nigeria, to help the nation realise its dream of development.
He pledged to support the university in its bid to sustain its excellence in research and development.
