All men dream but not equally. Those who dream by night wake in the day to find that it was all vanity but the dreamers of the day are often dangerous men, for they may act out their dream with open eyes. It is unclear what dreams the veteran socialite, Tunde Soleye, has through the night; it is his daydreams that give everyone cause for concern. When urbane medical doctor and veritable socialite, Dr. Soleye appeared recently, he seemed to have lost his bouncy strides.
Apart from pussyfooting, the bearded former husband of ex-beauty queen Nike Oshinowo had a tentative, forlorn look around him. Subdued were the suaveness and confidence that made him a hit among men and women.
Sources close to the affable doctor said his present outlook might not be unconnected with his separation from Nike. Despite denials and counter-denials about the state of their union, the couple, who got married in 2007 amid strident opposition from Dr. Soleye’s friends and immediate family, eventually went their separate ways in 2012. But the multimillionaire medical doctor, who was forced by the court to pay his ex-wife millions of naira while also forfeiting his London home in a divorce settlement, has told everybody who cared to listen that Nike would return to him because it was not the first time she would work out on the union.
