Fuji Music Lord, K1 De Ultimate, Others to Get ODA Awards

Plans are in top gear for the maiden edition of Outstanding Dignitaries Achievement Awards otherwise known as ODAAwards Powered By Rollicking Entertainment company, the event will hold on the 3rd of December, 2017 at the prestigious Oriental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos.

In the words of Princess Olukemi Egbeyode, a television Presenter and movie producer, the brain behind the ODAAwards project “We have observed that in recent times people who have done greatly in various intellectual industries had not been celebrated or honoured as they should. The ODA abbreviation, she continues , is a Yoruba word meaning “You are good”. This is a perfect interpretation of what the award stands for, because it is a recognition for the best.

The amiable movie maker also stated that, the awards is focused on men and women who have done excellently well in their areas of profession, industries and works. Those that have become achievers, by means of creating jobs/entrepreneurs developing their industry, environment and society. Those that have represented the country in one way or the other with high held integrity and honour, will be celebrated at the maiden edition and annually.
The awardees were chosen from different sectors. The list includes – Dr. Taiwo Afolabi, Princess Toyin Kolade, Oba Adetola Emmanuel king, Barrister Biyi Otegbeye, Princess Ronke Ademiluyi, Princess Folashade Adeyemi, Ademilola Odujinri, Mutiu Adepoju, Funke Oshonaike, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, Falilat Ogunkoya, Mrs. Laja Adedoyin, among others.

Many dignitaries, Obas, celebrities, Nigerians in Diaspora and foreigners will be in attendance. Oba Adéyeyè Enitan Ògúnwùsì (Òjàjà II) Ọọ̀ni’rìsà of Ilé-Ifẹ̀ himself is the Royal father of the day, The event is strictly by invitation. There will be lots of music, Comedy and a Fashion Show with support from Intercontinental Distillers Limited (IDL) one of Nigeria’s leading producers and marketers of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, Spice Television and a whole lot more.
