Get Out Makes an Unusual Entry at 2018 Golden Globes
For a movie that was critically acclaimed as the smash horror movie of the year to compete in the comedy category at next year’s Golden Globes is almost laughable.
As absurd as it is, the move is the marketing strategy that Universal Pictures adopted in order to get a chance at the awards. The production company entered the film into the comedy/musical category at the Golden Globes.

To be sure, there is nothing musical or comical about Jordan Peele’s movie. With undertones of racial abuse, the film is a gripping tale of horror that is void of the copious bloody scenes often seen in contemporary horror films. It is even bandied as the most profitable film of 2017. It amassed global box office takings of $253m for a $4.5m budget.
Although, horror films don’t usually make the cut in big awards, it is yet unknown which films will compete with Get Out in the category when the nominees are announced on December 11. That is, if it is not thrown out first.

Raw Vs Smackdown: Who will be the Ultimate Survivor?
The battle line will be drawn tonight at the Survivor Series where Raw and Smackdown will face off in a deadly match.
For the past few weeks, a feud has been brewing between the two brands which quest for superiority has inspired storylines.
Smackdown raised the dust when it placed Raw under siege by attacking the Raw team unawares including costing the Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins their Tag Team Championship title. The result of that action drew the ire of Stephanie McMahon who berated Kurt Angle, the general manager of the Raw brand for being careless and incompetent. Angle was forced to drop his son Jason Jordan who sustained an injury from Bray Wyatt from the team. He is being replaced by Triple H.

Not easily deterred, Raw had its sweet revenge on Smackdown Live, wreaking more havoc than it received.
Tonight, the feud will meet a climactic end as Team Raw-Kurt Angle, Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, Samoa Joe and Triple H- fight it out with Team Smackdown- Shane McMahon, Bobby Roode, Randy Orton, Shinsuke Nakamura and John Cena for the ultimate championship.
