Voting commenced late in Onitsha area, THISDAY has gathered.
The late commencement of voting was because of late arrival of election materials in the area, according to an INEC official who did not disclose her name.
Meanwhile, Senator Joy Emordi has expressed satisfaction with the orderly conduct of the process.
Emordi, a former senator representing Anambra North told journalists that the exercise had been orderly and devoid of violence .
She voted at Odoakpu Ward 2, Onitsha South Local Government Area at about 12:29pm.
