Plans are in top gear for the maiden edition of Outstanding Dignitaries Achievement Awards otherwise known as ODA awards powered by Rollicking Entertainment company, scheduled to hold on December 3 at the prestigious Oriental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos. The brain behind the ODA Awards project, Princess Olukemi Egbeyode, a television Presenter and movie producer, said, “We have observed that in recent times people who have done greatly in various intellectual industries have not been celebrated as they should.
The ODA abbreviation, is a Yoruba word meaning “You are goodâ€. This is a perfect interpretation of what the award stands for, because it is a recognition for the best.†The Amiable movie maker also stated that, the awards is focused on men and women who have done excellently well in their areas of profession, industries and works.
Olujuwon Bukunola-Philips the media director of ODA Awards further hinted that “ODA Awards, a one-day event with lots of glamour and celebrations, will promote excellence.
Many dignitaries, Obas, celebrities, Nigerians in Diaspora and foreigners will be in attendance. Oba Adéyeyè Enitan Ã’gúnwùsì (Ã’jà jà II) Ọá»Ì€ni’rìsà of Ilé-Ifẹ̀ himself is the Royal father of the day. There will be lots of music, comedy and a fashion show with support from Intercontinental Distillers Limited (IDL) one of Nigeria’s leading producers and marketers of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, Spice Television and a whole lot more.
