Lara Banjoko’s Low profile

Over the years, Lara Banjoko has successfully built a good reputation in the nation’s oil and gas business.

Also, for a long time, the former Chief Operating Officer of Oando Plc bestrode the Nigerian social scene like a colossus, making many to believe that her name would resonate in the social circle forever. But her rating in the social circle dropped so embarrassingly, following her disagreement with Jide Omokore, Chairman of Spog.

Consequently, she kept a low profile. However, she struggled to stage a comeback with the launch of her own company, Zone 4 Energy.

But, just when her fans were rejoicing over her comeback, Spy Glass learnt that the lady might have fallen into yet another troubledwaters that might take a long time to swim through. It was gathered that her firm, Zone 4 Energy LTD, is being investigated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, for allegedly receiving the sum of N5bn from a former Minister of Petroleum Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke, which is said to be proceeds of crime.  The success-driven woman is said to be making frantic efforts to clear her name from the mess. However, this development has reportedly forced her to withdraw from the social circle.
