NPFL: Kingsley Eduwo Unsure of Future with Lobi Stars

Home-based Super Eagles and Lobi Stars of Makurdi forward, Kingsley Eduwo has said that he’s currently in the dark on what the future holds for him at the Makurdi- based club.

The forward, who was voted the Most Valuable Player (MVP) for Lobi Stars in the just concluded 2016/2017 season, said he will be open to better offers both at home and abroad.

“For now, I am still with Lobi Stars, but for tomorrow I might not be with them. I am a player who is very ambitious and wants to play at the very top level, so if get an offer matching my ambition, I will definitely consider it.

“I believe I have paid my dues here at Lobi, if they still want me here then we will sit down and discuss, if not I might just play my football elsewhere next season,” he told Aoifootball.com yesterday.

Eduwo, who was at the WAFU competition in Ghana last month, said he hopes to still be in the country to represent Nigeria at the CHAN Nation’s Cup in Morocco next year.

“it’s always an amazing feeling to play for Nigeria and we the players will want to amend the humiliating loss to Ghana at the WAFU Cup by winning the CHAN Cup in morocco next year.

“I know it will be a tough one but we have the players that can deliver the title and I hope to be part of the team come next month.”
