The Nigeria Media Merit Award (NMMA) has announced the commencement of preparations for the NMMA 2017 – the 25th anniversary of the award presentation and silver jubilee edition.
According to a statement by the General Administrator, Ayoola Faluyi Tosan, the NMMA, since its establishment in 1990 has “remained committed to fostering professional excellence in media practice and recognising good works by practitioners and institutions in the industry.â€
The statement added that to fulfill its noble objectives, the NMMA relies on the goodwill and support of media organisations and other reputable members of corporate Nigeria who identify with NMMA’s noble commitment.
The NMMA has urged journalists to participate in the 2017 NMMA by forwarding their works published or produced in 2016 to the NMMA Secretariat for screening, in line with the guidelines for entry submission.
