Roli Uduaghan Celebrates 56th Birthday

The wife of the former governor of Delta State, Deaconess Roli Uduaghan, turned 56 recently.

The deeply spiritual woman celebrated her 56th birthday in their Parkview, Ikoyi, Lagos mansion on Wednesday, September 27th. It was a small get together for family and friends of the Uduaghans. No ostentation, no elaborate entertainment. It was more of praise and worship than secular birthday celebration. Those who know the former First Lady intimately know that she bade bye to the things of the world long ago.

No longer for her are the expensive jewelleries that her peers swear by or the fast life that her husband’s mammoth wealth as a two-term Governor of Nigeria’s second richest state affords her. Even before they left Government House in 2015, Mrs. Uduaghan had established a reputation as a devout Christian, organising periodic open-air crusades and fellowships among aides of her husband. Out of office, that as not really changed; in fact, she has become even more devout in her devotion to serving the Lord.
