F or the women of Christ the King (Anglican) Church, Nnaku Quarters, Nnokwa in Idenmili South Local Government Area of Anambra State, this year’s edition of the annual Women August Meeting was particularly eventful and exciting.  The presence of Three Crown Milk team, from the stables of FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria added colour to the event. The women, many of whom were witnessing such brand sponsorship for the first time were obviously thrilled.

Positioned as a brand for women and family, the Women August Meeting provided a fertile platform for the brand to connect not only with women but also penetrate the rural market. Understandably women from across the globe of Igbo origin gather at their various local churches during the meet to discuss ways to advance development of their local communities.

The last day of the program at CKC climaxed into double ceremonies, thanksgiving and investiture services. And for Three Crown brand, making an entry into the church to address the women on the health benefits was very strategic.  The brand was represented at the occasion by its Regional Medical Detailing Manager East Central, Mr. Richard Ayeni and his Medical Detailing Manager Absents counterpart, Mrs. Juliet Maurice.

Addressing the women, Mr. Ayeni used the occasion to educate the women on the health benefits of Three Crown Milk for women. According to him, Three Crown which is positioned on the premise of “Happy Mums, Happy Families” made from vegetable fat with not only unique attributes of pleasant taste but more importantly has low cholesterol content with essential vitamins and minerals to enrich the body of mothers with the right nutrients to live a healthy and beautiful life.

He added that the brand was the only milk brand that healthily takes care of mothers to enable them take better care of their families. To provide mothers with variety he added that Three Crowns Milk extended the brand to new products like 380g Powder, 14g Powder sachet and 55g Evap sachet to increase its portfolio in both Evap and Powder segments.

His presentation was interpreted in local Igbo language by Mrs. Juliet Moses for the benefit of the rural women who do not understand English.

Mrs. Beatrice Anyika, who is the newly elected Vice President of the women thanked the Three Crown team on behalf of the church for their support and presence and assured them that the women would henceforth become the brands ambassadors.

Another brand that also supported the event was Lacasera which made a generous donation of their products to the women.

Ministering at the church service on the theme “Shepherding the flocks of God,” Vicar of St. Stephens Anglican Church who presided over the service, Rev. Izuchukwu Ndubuisi, admonished the congregation to be patient and wait for Gods appointed time to bless them. Citing example from the life of David from the book of 1Samuel chapter 17, Ndubuisi noted that once its time to be favoured, everything else has to wait till its perfected.
