The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship in the 2015 general election candidate in Nasarawa State, Dr. Yusuf Agabi, has tasked the state chapter of the party to bring the National Secretary of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) Hon. Labaran Maku, under the umbrella of PDP.
Agabi stated this at the weekend in Lafia, the state capital, while reacting to the recent zoning of the party’s governorship ticket to the northern senatorial district of the state, adding that Maku and some other bigwigs that deserted the party have to be brought back to party to have a solid and solidified party before raising the issue of zoning. He said: “For instance the big fish, Maku, was one of the strongest members of PDP but he has to leave because he was not satisfied with the order. So these people have to be brought together under one umbrella of PDP so that by the time we have a solid  party, we can then talk about asking people intelligently, with some level of diplomacy; if we  all agree to go for zoning?â€
